Privacy Policy

Last updated May 2026

This is the privacy policy for Blank Generation (blankgenmag.com). It explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to get in touch if you want your data removed.

What we collect

We collect the minimum we need to run a publication. That's:

  • Email address — only if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter through a form on this site.
  • Basic request metadata — IP address, user agent, and referring URL — kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
  • Anonymous traffic measurement — aggregated, not tied to identifiable individuals.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with advertisers.

How we use what we collect

  • To send you the newsletter you signed up for.
  • To understand which articles people read and which don't.
  • To investigate technical issues and stop abuse.

Third parties we rely on

We host on Google Cloud and route traffic through Cloudflare, so your requests pass through their infrastructure. Their respective privacy policies apply to that traffic. We may also use a third-party email sending tool to deliver the newsletter — its name will be listed here once it's chosen.

Cookies

We use the small number of cookies required for the site to function (e.g. remembering you've signed up so we don't show the newsletter card again). We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what data we have about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your data entirely.
  • Stop sending you emails (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link).

Email [email protected]with the request and we'll handle it within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and bump the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter.
